WAIT a gosh darn minute Ross. When did you get an i-pod again!?

    And that's misrepresentation...you don't like Incubus or NIN. :p

Anyway. Some stuff you should download, but I know you won't just to spite me:

Snow Patrol - Final Straw (I don't really like them, but this is a decent album)
Arcade Fire - Funeral (Just because it's awesome)
Wintersleep Welcome To The Night Sky (I know I sent you a song and you didn't like it, but this album is VERY good)
    Muse - Showbiz
Muse - Origin Of Symmetry (I like both these better than the Muse album you have)
Blind Melon - Soup (Get this or I will make you suffer!)
Jeff Buckley - Grace (Just because it's blasphemy NOT to have this)
Chris Cornell - Euphoria Morning (I know you aren't a huge fan of his, but this a VERY good album)

    That'll do for now. Now...GO!

After seeing Interpol in Dusseldorf...I don't think that will happen!

And if you're talking Faith No More, I would go with The Real Thing or Angel Dust, but that's just me. I don't think you'll like them to be honest though Ross.

I'm going to second the Arcade Fire reccomendation. They have such great spirit - I can't imagine a music lover not appreciating them on at least some level.

Ha! You're right Davey boy, Interpol are a big no-no for me. I just checked my music and realised i have Ben Harper and Wolfmother but just haven't put them on my ipod for some reason.

I didn't tell you about the ipod because i knew you'd get mad! But i got it on ebay, and its 20gb and it was super cheap so it was a bargain!

since you really seem to like r.e.m., get some tragically hip on there. they've often been called canada's rem. one of their earlier albums maybe... up to here or road apples. although fully completely is kinda considered their best.

Fully Completely by the the Hip is prolly there most commercial release to date, if thats what u like.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - By the Way
John Butler Trio - Grand National
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Gish, and if you like those then pick up Adore and Machina
Radiohead - The Bends, OK Computer

there's a lot of obvious stuff on here that I'm guessing you don't have for a reason, like the bowie and arcade fire, I love both acts but can see how maybe not everyone would. Or the Smashing Pumpkins like you've heard them a thousand times and if you haven't bothered to get them by now I wouldn't bother, you know what they sound like.
I'm putting forth the Hold steady, they are probably the best band going right now. Get boys and girls in America to start because I think it's the most commercial and well that's how I got into them. so clearly it works. They have a very heavy Bruce influence which is cool. That or Thin Lizzy, best of Jailbreak, they might just be the most underrated band of the 70s.
