I hope so i've seen them twice and they are up there on my "won't miss them when they come to town list"

would this be confirming themselves for Neil Youngs show in kent maybe on the same day??
  • Damn. I was really hoping for an Irish date.:(
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

  • Sunday 6th July is Hop Farm festival yes, with Neil Young. Tickets still on sale for this. I've already purchased.

Pretty sure Rescue Rooms (Nottingham) tickets go on sale this Friday 18th April. This is a great venue- saw Idlewild there last year- MMJ will kick ass in this place.

London Forum ticket sales have not been announced yet but I expect they will be this Friday to.

Either way, I'll be at all three dates. We should arrange a MMJ/PJ meet up.

im not real sure how i feel about MMJ but i can respect them.

Anyway, the reason i stopped by this thread is to tell a funny story which involves MMJ-im not trying to offend MMJ fans by any means, keep that in mind.

It was at lolla last year when they were playing b4 PJ. Everyone up front had been there for 10+ hours, just for PJ basically, and it was getting annoying listening to all these bands who just simply arent as good. Some guy yells

    "My Morning FUCK THIS"

Normally i would think that this was rude but i was so hot and exhausted and drained and everything else, so me and everyone else who was around busted out laughing. Then some kid yells up at us, "Its a music festival not a Pearl Jam concert." Which made the situation even funnier because 99% of us up front are tenclub members and to us, it WAS a Pearl Jam concert with 3 days of opening bands. I still crack up thinking about that 2 and a half minute ordeal.
