Ridiculously stupid question...

If i buy a vinyl from the U.S. can i play it on a record player in the UK? It's not like DVD where there are differences that mean i can't play it, is it?

    The only difference with SOME vinyls is the size of the hole in the middle of the record.
    But you can buy a thing to accomadate it. Fairly cheap too.

    i've never had any problem with any of the vinyls I bought in US. they are alls the same.
    2006: Antwerp, Paris
    2007: Copenhagen, Werchter
    2009: Rotterdam, London
    2010: MSG, Arras, Werchter
    2012: Amsterdam, Prague, Berlin
    2014: Amsterdam, Stockholm

    You just have to watch out for vinyl from Australia...it spins in the opposite direction. ;)

    I bought my first two vinyl today and i think i made good choices:

    'Born to Run' by Bruce Springsteen
    'Vitalogy' by some unknown band called Pearl Jam :)
