I always think it's funny that PJ always covers alot of songs from different artists but when a band covers them I get frustrated. I don't know why but I do. Except for when Staind covered 'Black'. Other than Fred Durst getting his 2 sense in there that is a godd version. But that is just me.

Someone posted that The Calling did Alive afew years back. Not sure to confirm it though. BTW, has any of the Eddie-sound wannabe bands ever covered PJ?
i.e. Creed, Puddle of Mud, etc...

I have seen Aaron Lewis solo tour and he covers not only Black but Release, Small Town and Even Flow. He also does River of Deceit (MM solo) if that counts.

Patti Smith played Alive at Roskilde Festival 2001. That moment is held up to be one of the all time greatest moments at Roskilde and I freakin' missed it!! Apperently she told her band to keep playing nomatter what happened. She startet crying half way through and couldn't sing anymore, but the band kept playing accompanied by the crowds singing.

Have searced everywhere for a clip of, but nothing.
