i got one and used it to buy music i wouldn't buy usually, like Daft Punk old school stuff or a single that i liked when i was young, ...trail of dead is better with the artwork

If you are checking out Trail of the Dead i suggest Source Tags & Codes. Although Worlds apart is not bad ST&C is better. I don't have much of their earlier work so i can't say much about that.

My bloody valentine's best album in my opinion (and many others i would think) is Loveless

I find Trail of the dead easier to get into then MBV but MBV is quite good.

Death From above 1979 are cool, but they got old real quick for me. The above two mentioned albums are much better.

The other three you mentioned i don't know enough about to comment on.

If you are feeling adventurous you could try a new band called Band of Horses they are on Sub Pop and released their first album today called Everything All the time. Not sure if it is on itunes. They are drawing comparisons to the shins and my morning jacket. If you google Band of Horses you can go to their home page and hear a couple songs on the album i have really dug them
