PissBottleWoman and I went to Nashville yesterday to see Sheryl Crow at the Ryman Auditorium.

First time that we've been to the Ryman...one of the nicest places to see a show. Very small...very intimate.

At the end of the night, as we were walking up the stairs, Vince Gill and Amy Grant were right in front of us....that was pretty cool.

If you get a chance...see a show at the Ryman.

I saw R.E.M. there are few years back. It really is an awesome venue.

We were outside walking around before the show, and ran into Bertis Downs, R.E.M.'s manager, and then we were a few steets over on the strip and ran into Peter Buck and Scott McCaughey... that was a great night.
The Man has a branch office in each of our brains, his corporate emblem is a white albatross, each local rep has a cover known as the Ego, and their mission in this world is Bad Shit.
  • There's a lot of rich musically history there. We hung out at a few bars before and after the show on Broadway. It was nice to sit back and listen to all the different types of music.

Sheryl put on a good show...she played with a string section.

Yeah, I always love just walking down the strip when I am in Nashville stopping in to random places, with all the different musicians playing, its a really cool town.

I was at the REM show, one of my favorite shows ever. I have tickets to belle and sebastian and Oasis at the Ryman in March.
  • I would like to see Sigur Ros there, but that show sold out.

What about Lance? Did you see Lance? After the Tour last summer Lance said he would be traveling as her guitar tech.

Yeah, I've read about that documentary...it should be very cool.

RiverRunner, Sheryl came out in a white dress and said it looked like her wedding dress...she said, "Lance, we should just get married right here tonight...." Crowd goes crazy.

Then she says, "We can't, he's in California".
