Alabama? You guys get plenty of shows. I'm waiting on a California date. Its been about 8 months since the last one out here. I was listening to the Tabernacle show the other day at work, and realized I really need a DBT show soon.

You guys seen any of Pattersons solo dates? I'd love to see one of those too.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I'm definitely going to Langerado, already have tickets for that, and more than likely will be hitting up the show the night before too. Feb. 14 sounds pretty good to my ears, looking forward to the new record.

    Tired of living in Buttholeville
Tired of my job and my wife Lucille
Tired of my kids Ronnie and Neil
    Tired of my 68 Bonneville

If you head over to http://www.blessingandacurse.com they've put up some links to various podcasts featuring the band, and some of the new tracks.

  • A DBT-related item: I finally watched the movie CHRYSTAL today, written and directed by Ray McKinnon, starring Billy Bob Thornton and Lisa Blount.

Excellent film featuring a couple of DBT tunes. DBT has been a big supporter of Ray McKinnon's films.

Chrystal isn't for you if you like big, hollywood films - it's a character driven film that is wonderfully executed. Not fast paced, just a good character film - the type of film I'd like to make someday...

I really hope these guys tour Canada for this album. It's been a while since they last visited, and even then I think they only played Toronto and Montreal. I think a nice full-scale Canadian tour would be amazing. I've become a huge fan of this band over the past year and unfortunately the closest I've been to a live DBT show is their DVD. I NEED to see these guys live...and soon.

I will be seeing them down here in FLA in a few weeks... Once headlining and the next day at a festival thing.

I am interested in seeing how much they are playing from the new record.
