This documentary about The Gits is streaming free on pitchfork all week long. The film focuses on the their history up through the murder of Mia Zapata, and subsequent arrest and conviction of her attacker 11 years later. A very powerful documentary...
eV gets name checked like 2/3 of the way through for participating in a fundraiser to raise money to hire a private investigator to find her killer.

    Members of the Gits still play around Seattle. Mia's story was a very sad story, indeed.

    Can I ask you something? Phonetically is the G pronounced as "jits" or like G in "good"?
