**The White Stripes Fall Tour!!**

Holy shit! :eek: First the CORNELL dates are released a few days ago...then confirmation that AIC will be back on the road this fall...and now The STRIPES!?! AHH! This is so outta control!! Another epic musical year is most definitely upon us. :D

~>Lemme just say right now, The White Stripes are one of the greatest live acts you will EVER see. EVER. Phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe. They must been seen to be believed...and even then it's too much to process.
If they are coming to a town near you do yourself a huge ass favor and GO!!!!!

Hello Children,

This Fall, The White Stripes will continue on their quest to play all remaining sixteen states they have yet to travel to. September takes them to eight more, with a few additional stops along the way. Don't worry Hawaii, Jack and Meg haven’t forgotten about you. Please visit the "shows" section of the site for a complete list of newly confirmed shows and stay tuned for info regarding special pre-sale tickets.

    Oh HELL yeah. Been waiting for this for a while now! :D

    VEDHEAD27 is right... I wasn't really into this band till I saw them live -- and within 2 weeks of seeing them I think I owned all of their albums!!! :eek: :D

    2 days at ACL as well?!? Fuckin' A, I haven't seen them before, and now I'll be seeing them 2 days in a row!

    And it's so true...seeing them live pushed me from LOVE to full blown OBSESSION. :p

    2 Seattle dates?! I still cant get over that! So fuckin cool! And ending it there too? Wow. I'm super excited about The Greek Theater here again. Looove that place. I hope hope hope you'll be able to join me at that one. :) *~I will not lose my faith~*

    God damn this band RULES! I cannot wait to get a much needed fix!

    It amazes me that the White Stripes are playing every province/terrority in Canada this tour...that is crazy man....Nunavut included....

    I know, jdub3001, I am soooooooo tempted to go down for ACL this year. The lineup is incredible (http://aclfestival.com/lineup.aspx) and throwing the Stripes in there is the icing on the cake!!!

    And yes Lydi my dear, I will work very hard to join you at the Greek! It just NEEDS to happen. :) *hugs*

    I've been crazy happy all day after seeing the two Seattle dates. Looks like I'll be seeing them thrice. Once in Burnaby and twice in Seattle!

    VEDHEAD27, you're so right about their live shows.. they're brilliant. I've made sure to see them on every tour so far.

    And FYI, the video for 'Icky Thump' is premiering on AOL tomorrow and it's looking extremely cool from some stills I saw.

    i was lucky enough to get to go to the Nashville concert on 05/18. even luckier enough to be stage center at the barricade. had i been able to take a photo, it would have looked like this...or this...only i was standing about a foot to the right (or left, respectively)...dead center in front of jack. i've been to two WS shows...one was the last detroit show for the 2006 tour...they played a lot of great songs, but i was literally in the last row of the venue and the crowd seemed to be just hum-ho. however, the Nashville show was AMAZING! really made up for the somewhat disappointing Detroit show. kudos to all the cities that got shows!

    OK, I am WAY jealous. :) I saw the email announcement but there was no way I could get to Nashville. I'm sure that show kicked ass!!! Glad to know someone here got to go.

    Yes, there are supposed to be some more shows added; just not announced yet.
