After more than a decade fronting Fuel, singer Brett Scallions has parted ways with the band. The remaining members are holding auditions for a new singer. "We are pushing forward into the future with great eagerness and anticipation," writes guitarist Carl Bell, who already has completed penning the follow-up to Fuel's 2003 Natural Selection album. Scallions now is playing bass in a New York band called the X's.

  • this really sucks! i loved fuel, and mostly because of brett's vocals and personality onstage... i'm gonna miss that.....

does anyone know anything else about this, like why he left, and if it has anything to do with that surgery he had before they recorded natural selection, that really strained his vocals?
  • this sucks fuel is dead...brett is fuel

  • SUCK is right. I've been following this for awhile, being a huge Fuel fan. This was coming for a while now though. Both are right....
Carl is fuel technically....(writing all the songs etc.)
BUT Brett is Fuel as far as live, and face of the band. He was an awesome front man. Sad day....
