Just thought I'd rescue the thread from page 3.

Yup, it looks like they're taking August off, which is well deserved considering they've been on the road steadily since last October. Then it's off to Eastern Canada and Europe in September. It also looks like another U.S. tour is in the works for October, as they've just added a few new California dates as well as shows in Aspen, Boulder, Dallas, and Austin. These guys just don't stop!

And I can't remember where I read it, but Robby Baker recently mentioned in an interview that we can most likely expect a new album sometime in 2008. I freakin' LOVE this band!

You won't regret it. I'm a a huge fan and I'm probably a bit biased here, but I think these guys are easily one of the best rock bands on the planet. Their live show is second to none. For new fans I always recommend checking out their 2-disc greatest hits collection "Yer Favourites", and then go from there.

    Happy listening!

Agreed. It just might be the greatest song ever written by anybody. A brilliant marriage of poetry and rock. Disturbing, haunting, and beautiful. It's pure genius:

"I had this dream where I relished the fray
and the screaming filled my head all day.
It was as though I'd been spit here, settled
in, into the pocket of a lighthouse on some
rocky socket, off the coast of France, dear.

One afternoon, four thousand men died in
the water here and five hundred more were
thrashing madly, as parasites might in your
blood. Now I was in a lifeboat designed for
ten and ten only, anything that systematic
would get you hated. It's not a deal nor a
test nor a love of something fated. The
selection was quick, the crew picked and
those left in the water got kicked off our
pantleg and we headed for home.

Then the dream ends when the phone rings,
you doing alright he said it's out there most
days and nights, but only a fool would
complain. Anyway Susan, if you like, our
conversation is as faint as a sound in my
memory, as those fingernails scratching on
    my hull."
