Neko Case!!!

Is playing alot of venues within the next couple of weeks here on the West Coast. I just picked up my ticket for the 15th of February in Eugene. I have waited a long time to see her live. Did anyone happen to see her video from Austin City Limits? What a great, strong, passionate voice. Reminds me of someone else I know who goes by the name of ED... Now I see why Stone loves her so much!

    She's playing a few dates with Merle Haggard, too - that's a heck of a double bill. Wish she'd come back to the Midwest sometime :(

    She was so amazing on ACL - coincidentally, I just downloaded the audio from the ACL show yesterday.

    Her newest album was one of my favs this year. Also i picked up blacklisted over christmas and love it.

    She has a great voice and writes some great songs.

    An underated songstress she is!

    Yeah, I've never seen them with Neko. We were hoping she would show for their set at Lolla, but we got the fill-in girl instead. She was all right.

    I was bumbed that she didn't tour with the New Pornographers when I saw them last tour.

    Theres a band from Tacoma Wa called "Girl Trouble". I'm not sure how, but at one point Neko Case was a go go dancer during their concerts. You might find some pictures or more info at their website.

    Will see her at the Helly-Up for sure. I saw her with Ryan Adams and Willie at the Hollywood Bowl and she was great. I'm stoked to see her in a smaller room.

    I get a lot of grief from my wife about being a HUGE fan of artists like Neko Case, Jenny Lewis, Kasey Chambers, Lucinda Williams, etc., but I think she's most jealous of Neko. Should our child (due in April) had been a girl, Neko would've been worked into her name somehow, so I guess you can tell who my favorite is and her jealousy is not uncalled for. :D

    ive seen the pornographers 4 times all but once with neko. not only did neko not come last time but dan bejar neither. the two best voices of the fucking group. i was pissed. you cant be billed as the new pornographers without bejar, and neko. ac newmans niece is only okay and compared to neko she is nothing. they played two gigs here in october and i didnt go because nobody could confirm that they would be there! what a let down. i heard they are putting out a new one in 07? anyone confirm that?

    i'll be seeing Neko on Valentine's Day with my lovely fiance......it's just so fitting since I asked her to marry me right before the last time we saw Neko Case!
