    Well, considering Mike plays mid/late 50's Strats - Fat 50's . . .

But the Texas Specials are based on SRV's pickups which was a '59 Strat.

texas specials are very hot which will lead you to lose some top end clarity and definition.

57/62's are the closer fender pickups to his sound. but you might like the Fat 50's.

Personally I think the Lindy Fralin Vintage Hots are the greatest thing since sliced bread but that's just me.

His pickups are the stock pickups from his 59 strat as far as I know and the only thing that's been changed besides I'm sure some worn out pots are the Frets.

So if you want a fender pickup look to the 57/62's that they use in thier reissues. That being said... you may like the Fat 50's I just have no experience with them.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
