ok so say ive got like five pedals and want to power them all using a daisy chain. I realise i cant have say 3 AC and 2 DC but could i have like 3 of them 9V and 2 of them 4.5V. or would that make the 4.5V ones like overflow or sumthin?

it depends on the overall output of the digital power source.

1300MA or what have you. You have to add up the total draw of the pedals to see what you can do with it.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Those Visual Sound "1-Spots" are supposedly self regulating (and they make a 5-plug daisy chain).
