The Eric Clapton series Strat is a V neck guitar. What is a V neck and how does it feel?

It is pretty much exactly what is sounds like. The neck of the guitar is V shaped, so you would be putting your thumb on the point of the V. The usual shape of the Strat neck is C shaped. I have not played one in a while, but I remember that it was easy to get your thumb over the top of the neck to the low E string.

v necks are my favorite neck for the guitar. they make it so easy to do thumb-overs. theres a hard v, and a soft v. the hard v has a more dramatic cut/feel to it, and a soft v is more rounded. they are my favorite type of neck besides the u neck(but i think thats only for teles)
they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go
