Here in Canada we don't have a Guitar Center franchise but i'm in Massassachusetts right now and I noticed they have one in Boston. Boston is about 45 - 55 mins. away from where I'm staying. Do you guys think it's worth the drive for me to check out the store? I want to try out a bunch of different guitars mainly Strats, Tele's and LP's. Is it a really good store?

There are other Guitar Centers, and Daddy's Junky Music stores that may be closer to you. Where will you be staying?

If you're just going there to try stuff out, then I'd say go for it. They usually have tons of guitars in stock. If you want to buy one, go to a mom-and-pop store. Guitar Center usually hires teens, and they usually don't know what they're talking about. Also, they tend to get a lot of scratch and dent stuff.
