Here's the rig miked up with 3 Sennheiser e906's and a akg c414 pulled back 3 feet:

I run a groove tubes dual 75 stereo as my wet channel which runs through the left and the right speakers. I use my Two Rock Opal head dry through the center speaker.

I'm using a Hard Truckers custom JG-3:

I sure hope this is just a studio rig - what a big pain in the ass to take on the road (and kind of overkill).

Man, those Cornish pedals are expensive (I played one a few months ago). Funny, to my ears the G2 sounded very
similar to my Keeley modded BD-2. For that much $$money$$ I'll happily keep my BD-2 and not worry about it.
Dude, you've got a great setup, but as I said, I wouldn't want to take it all on the road (at least not without a
bunch of roadies carrying it all and setting it up (it’s just too much gear for me to keep track of, especially on the
road) - I’ll happily keep my pedal board - at least I can check that on a plane (was able to do that all last tour).

Nice Rig I bet it took years to get all that stuff, it's kind of interesting just thinking about all the inputs and outputs.

How is the speaker cab divided on the inside is it like 3 different closed back 1x12's or all open?

What do you use the CAE tube preamp for on the top rack?

How do you end up layering the Opal how much is in the mix?

Is the distortion generally through the Opal and you generally leave the wet stuff clean?

    gracias.

if you get a chance, I'd like to see your recording rig too. Thanks for sharing.... and I hope you have Roadies.

Steve Miller Band will be here in a couple of weeks, I'll see if I can get some good pictures of the amp rigs if I make it in to the show. I've always liked Rivera stuff, they have a great new switching system they've just built out now too, though most people who need that much midi switching generally already have something from CAE or Rocktron anyway.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

The Hard Trucker is all open, it has 3 speaker inputs on the back with a selector knob that allows you to power all three with one amp at 4ohms, 2 amps to power all three at 8ohms, or each speaker powered with a separate amp at 16 ohms. all the speaker cables were custom made by Evidence audio.

The CAE 3+SE is selectable thru the RS-10 foot controller. I use it for a very big, compressed clean tone or thick crunch. The opal and GT are on volume pedals so they can be mixed in variably depending on the sound being sought out. Generally most of the distortion is handled by the opal. usually the GT are mixed lower with reverb and are generally clean... while other times i will turn them up if i'm using delay or some other effect through them. All of the pedals are run in series thru the 4x4 that make up the effects loop that feed the opal. Using the control functions of the 4x4, each pedal in the chain actually has real "true bypass". All of the gear in the second rack is the parallel effects (delays, reverbs, etc) which are run thru another 4x4 for control by the RS-10 in addition to being sent thru a line mixer. Other gear, like the echoplex is run thru the GT for true stereo effects.
