How low are they? Or are they not as low as we think?

I have no idea what like the action is on his guitars but being an SRV fan I'd assume that it's not particularly low.

    SRV had high action?
  • The action had to be up just with the use of 13 gauge strings.

I don't ever remember reading reading that Mike used bigger gauge strings, but I could be wrong. I thought at one point I read Stone used 11's. Again I could be wrong.

Yeah, 11s are the biggest I ever recall Mike using though as ianvomsaal says he's using 10s now.
