I don't believe I've ever posted in this exact forum here before.
But um, here goes.
My mom plays the flute.
I guess the flute style she uses is called the native america flute.
Anyhow, she likes the song PJ does called Long Road.
Anyone know where I can find her the sheet music for this tune?

p.s. I know zero about this reading music stuff,
just tryin to help the mom out.

I'm not whether Ed wrote this or not, but I think he did, in whcih case sheet music will not be available, unless it has been done by a magazine. Ther is a limited number of PJ songs published, including the Ten album, Dissident, Daughter and that's about it !!!!!

She can use regular piano/guitar sheet music for flute.
The flute is a concert pitch instrument, meaning when a flute plays a C we really hear a C.
Shouldn't be too difficult for her to do since she presumably reads music already.

Sorry, as far as I can tell no-one has transcribed LONG ROAD for a book.

You can download guitar pro for free, find a decent tab of the song, transfer that tab into power tab and it'll show the sheet music at the top.
I can do it for you tomorrow if I find the time, I'm not familiar with the song so if someone could link me to an accurate tab I'll gladly put it in to power tab and transfer the sheet music part over to .jpeg.

Edit: just looked up a tab for it, it's all chords -- I won't be able to get the rhythm correctly but I can get all the chords into music form for you -- although I don't know how it'll sound on a flute...

Try finding a MIDI file too. A midi programme will present you with music notation as well.
There are heaps of sites to get midi from.

I just did asearch, but didn't find one, though a couple hits suggested there should be some.
