what kind of distortion does mike use????? i love his sound but i can't seem to get it. and what is that thing that eddie uses in the middle of the live rearviewmirror and at the end of wishlist?

    I believe mike uses a TS-9 Tube Screamer for distortion and Eddie is using an Ebow for the effects on those songs. An ebow is like an electronic pic that allows you to change the sound of the string vibration. I believe the Smashing Pumpkins also used Ebows frequently.

    Mike also uses a fulltone overdrive and the BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver(Keeley moded).

    How does Mike get that sound that you hear in the leads for the 2nd verse of evenflow live. He uses it in parts of the solo too.

    I know he uses a wah sometimes in the solos.

    univibe (I think he uses the Line 6 MM4mod). Use a chorus for it.
