New local gear stash...

The manageer at the shop around the corner here went mad after the annual trade show. Usually that shop only has low-medium gear.

Now it has a full range of Matchless, coule of Heritage single-cuts, Victoria amps, Dusenbergs, custom shop ESP.

I plugged this porn Dusenberg with Humbucker bridge and P90 neck into this monster MAtchless combo yesterday, and have to say, was seriously impressed. As good a tone as I have ever heard. Mind you teh amp left enough change for an ice-cream out of $9K, so it should be good.

So now, it's really worth wandering around the corner.

    Yes indeedy !!

There was also a Heritage amplifier, which is presumably the same company.

I didn't get to try it yet, but it had both 6L6 and EL34 tubes with option to use either, or possibly both at once.

Looks like a tasty thing. They had so much new high-end stuff I barely got to glance at most of it.

They also had an Anniversay Limited Edition Hi-Watt head and cab which is gonna get a work-put that's for sure !!

No, I don't think so, it was a head and cab, and had the UK/US voicing switch. I'll have a closer look next time I'm in, maybe today. I'm heading over that way to go windsurfing.
