1947 Martin

Had a great experience recently.
Was introduced to a guy in LA who has a big vintage acoustic collection.
The pick of the bunch was a small body MArtin, a 00-18 I think.
Anyway, it was a superb thing, and similar enough to Ed's main acoustic to be pretty exciting to play.
Of course, I could not help but to play a bunch of PJ stuff on it.
I was very grateful to the owner for his superb hospitality and great beer.
Any time a chance to play a guitar like taht comes up, I strongly reccomend anyone here jumps at it.
Music is not a competetion.

    Hehe, i doubt too many of us here wouldn't be keen to play one of them!

    Awesome. I've played some really nice guitars in my day, and would LOVE to play something like that!

    the coolest guitar ive ever played was an early prs dragon guitar. that thing was sweet!
    nothing compared to this though
    they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go
