I haven't started a thread for a while, so I thought I'd bring this up.
Anyone else find this song difficult to play ? Now, I'm no sook, but getting the main riff exactly right with perfect timing is nearly as difficult as playing MOP.
I practised it a lot last week, and was kinda getting it, but i still have a lot of polishing to do.
The sequence is not hard, just getting the picking accurate.

now imagine trying to sing while playing it.
ACtually, I think it is easier to sing to than Betterman, or Fatal. The phrases fall on the beats much more so than a lot of Ed's stuff.
HAving said that, I respect the ability to sing and play riffs (as opposed to strum chords) a lot. It's one thing I think that Hetfield is outstanding at, even thought his singing voice is not.
RVM is probably the only PJ song I struggle with, I think.

i remember getting frustrated with it numerous times when learning it. great feeling when you nail it.
Cant wait til im at that point as well. tough song to sing and play.
