Corduroy solo advice?

Can anyone please tell me what scales I can use to play a solo at the end of corduroy?
I'm going to be covering it and I'm wondering if I should play a solo, or just do what they do on the album.

I can tell you that you should play a solo, but i'm on the same page as far as wanting to know the scales. From what i interpreted in an earlier post, it's the first chord of the riff you're playing over or it's relative minor? So i guess.... E or CCamden I '06, Camden II '06, Bonnaroo '08, Camden I '08, Camden II '08, Philly Spectrum II/III/IV '09, MSG I '10, MSG II '10, Made In America '12, Wrigley '13, Brooklyn II '13, Philly I '13, Philly II '13, ...0
