There's a possibility of me buying a Fender Roc Pro 1000 head from a fellow M&Ger. What type of cabinet should I look for? PLEASE keep in mind funds are VERY low but I don't know the ohm matching or anything.

I dont know what speaker config you're after, but check these guys out.
Nice cabs, nice speakers, very nice price: http://www.avatarspeakers.com
I like their G212H Traditional Cabs with Vintage 30's:

  • I'll definitely try them out. If I have 8 and 4 ohm outputs, what kind of cab should I look for?

Also check craigslist. Occasionally you can find pearls among the swine. I happened to score my Marshall 1960A lead cab from craigslist for $300. Even though the tolex had a few tears, the cab itself was fine (great considering a new one would have cost $800 before shipping.

Those avatar cabs do look intriguing though.

Probably 8ohm - You can go with a a mesa thiele (1X12), or one of these for much less: http://www.avatarspeakers.com/g112.htm
Or get a 2X12 cabinet with two 16 ohm speakers wired in parallel to make an 8 ohm cab (like the Avatar cabs I mentioned before).

The G212H Traditional Avatar cab is made from 13 ply voidless Baltic Birch and comes with either VINTAGE 30 or G12H30 speakers,
and open or closed back, all for $298 (plus $34 shipping) - you won't really find a better deal for this kind of baltic birch cab loaded
with Vintage-30's with a one year warranty and 14 day return policy. There's even 3 colors to choose from at this price.
You read this info, right? http://www.avatarspeakers.com/g212h%20special.htm
You can even customize the color for $31 more ($329): http://www.avatarspeakers.com/g212h.htm

They also make 4X10 cabs starting at $359: http://www.avatarspeakers.com/G410.htm
    And 4X12 cabs for $419: http://www.avatarspeakers.com/G412%20SPECIAL.htm

    I really like my 1960 cab, it's very full-sounding.

1960 - Which version (A, B, AC, BC, AV, BV)???
The 1960A/B's come with G12T-75 speakers
The 1960AC/BC's come with Greenbacks (G12M-25)
The 1960AV/BV's come with Vintage 30's (G12) my personal favorite.
And you can always replace the back solid instead of the existing pressboard.

1960B from what I was told.

1960B is the all vertical cab.

I have a 1960A, which probably just has those standard Celestions in it.

1960B from what I was told.
The B is the "BOTTOM" (straight cab), while the A is the "ANGLED" top cab.
The G12T-75 speakers in the 1960A/B cabs are built/designed for "high gain" amps.
They're not necessarily my favorite Celestion speaker, but they're still a fine speaker.

If you happen to come across a 1960AV or BV at a similar price, grab it since
it's loaded with Celestion Vintage-30's (I find them superior sound-wise).
