I've tried to get that same tone Stone gets with the Wah but I can't. Any tips on how to get it or play the riff the correct way? I've gone to GTW zillions of times.

You've got to use the Same Guitar, Same Amp, and Same Wah as Stone or you'll never get the same tone.

the tab at gtw is essentially correct. but you can't really overthink that by trying to play exactly.

it's just moving between B and G and it's easy since it's in drop D. that little B6th is really the only thing.

you just have to feel it. you're just swinging between B and G like the tab shows.

as for the tone, as long as the wah is on and parked at a position that sort of resonates with those chords, there isn't anything else you can do. i think it's a bridge humbucker into the what into a driven amp. that's about it.

Yeah, I know that but he seems to have more mid when he does it.
