Dead humbucker

My strat seems to be fuckin' up. I have a single coil humbucker at the bridge and it seems to have gone out. For a while, it would fade in and out when I adjused the voume knob. I tightened the knob and now, the humbucker does not work. When I activate the pick up, no sound comes out. Does anyone know what I can do or see how to fix it? Are there any schematics out there?

    first thing to do is check if a solder is loose. that may be the problem.

    they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go
