My first guess would be that it's an improv.. those lyrics seem like most improv lyrics.

It's interesting and dark sounding, but those weren't the lyrics. From what i can make out from the first two listens, Ed sings something about "Blow my head off with my gun". Perhaps it is an improv. If that is the case, then all the lucky fuckers at that show got two improvs.

Fuck it's been a long time, but I don't remember two improvs. It was a kickass show with some oddities: Daughter opener, Alone, Sonic Reducer and TYYAM.

It was also a weird show. It was in a small college auditorium/arena venue and there were only about 1500 people there. I want to say it was Dave A's hometown? maybe? We weren't sure that it was even going to happen because Ed had been arrested in New Orleans the night before (bar fight with pitcher Jack McDowell). Then Dave A's arms gave out and they got help from the Urge Overkill drummer for the encore. Strange night, but amazing. Well worth driving several hundred miles on my 19th birthday.
