About Jeff Ament´s gear (Yield tracks)...

Anyone of you know about how Jeff recorded Yield?
It´s one of my favorite albums ever and I´m most curious about the basses used on it.
Most of the tracks, sounds to me like Jeff has used fretted bass with flatwound strings.. But I´m not sure in which songs he has used fretless (if he used it at all.. ..I´m wondering if in 'Faithful' there was a fretless, per example)...
In 'Low Light' i can clearly hear a double bass.. ...'Brain of J.' seemed to be played with a pick ..and I readed that in 'No Way', was Stone who recorded the bass track. :P
And what´s happen with the tuning in 'Push Me Pull me'? ..it´s like standart but half step down?
Well, if some of you could help with informations about the basses on Yield, please share it here.
and sorry about the bad english

Go to "Gear" ---> "Jeff's Basses"
There's some good info there, although it's better for guitar....hopefully that will help a little.

But I already knew this site (great one!), and the info about Jeff´s gear doesn´t help me too much... =/
I suggest just digging up SVT and studying it

check out this website.
the article i just mentioned can be found there,as well as a pretty detailed section on his gear.
there is alot of info to be found here,so take your time and check it all out.
About the diagram, I realize I already had seen it... but haven´t payed much attention. So it´s good to see it again! ...But I was hoping to find some Yield info like this (about Riot Act):

That´s awesome!
And I couldn´t find a link with the article of the august 98 issue of Bass Player... =/
Haha! What a strange thing, the horn sound be in fact Jeff on bass!.. And that one about the and Brain of J I didn´t know too.
go to that link i posted, click on the third picture from the left at the top,it will say,"words", when your curser is over it,then click on the articles link and scroll down.there are alot of interviews and such to be found here.the 98 bass player article is called ,"tanned, rested and ready", i think.
Yeah!
There was a problem with my browser, I guess..
It allowed me to see only two pictures on the left and two on the right... In the middle there was (it still have.. in fact) kind of a window covering the rest of the page (and I couldn´t close it or something.) .. But in the end I got a way to see the others pictures with the links, dragging the hidden part..
Thanks a lot, man! I going to read that articles.
