Second opinion...

I have a bet going and need a second opinion.

The last time PJ was in St. Louis (April '03) they played a blistering version of Black ending with Mike doing a cool trick at the tail of his solo: It's this cool synth-like effect where the note sustains and then bends up reeeealy slowly. I'm not sure if he's done it elsewhere, but I'm thinking he uses a combination of delay and a pitch shifter to get the effect.

Have any of you seen that or have any idea how he does it?

No idea about the answer to your real question, but the last time they played St. Louis was October 5, 2004 at the Fox Theatre.
