    I'm just saying you never know what will happen during shipping (hopefully they will be taking out and bubble wrapped or something).

    There is the possibility that they are used, and at the end of there life. etc.

    Is it a good idea to take the tubes out, or no? I have been suggested to do both.

    I fuckin love this thing, its the secret of amps...the best clean sounds and awesome gain sounds for a low price, idk how the fuck Traynor does it

    should be ok to leave them in place i'd think. they aren't going to get knocked by anything any more than they would in bubble wrap.

    last time i had an amp shipped, the tubes in place were fine. the extras shipped loose were destroyed.

    That's exactly what I paid for mine ($334). Hope it works out for you, mine gets out of the shop on Tuesday!

    The other thing, is that handbuilt amps have the pre-amp tubes in a specific order related to intrinsic "noisiness", to reduce pre-amp noise. Changing the order might increase this.

    According to the seller, he pulled the tubes but left the preamp tubes. He says he packed it so it will be fine when it gets here. I've got my fingers crossed.
