Does anyone have a lead on the portfolios? I remember there was talk about trying to find them within the past year, don’t recall the conclusion. I’m finding myself with too many posters lol.

Thank you. More than I wanted to spend but see it as an investment for future shows and some I don’t need in frames.

    ^ thats a beauty!

I just framed my morlan poster and added it

Nice. That broken snow globe one is unique. I think it has the same type of gloss bk used on his Napa print. Looks like glass. Supercool!

Did anyone else have a bad experience with their Baroque portfolio?  I was excited to get one after reading about them on these forums. I didn't even fill my up completely and the "pages" started falling out like a broken three-ring binder back in high school.

I would say they're average at best but the options for 24x36 portfolios are extremely limited (at least at that price point). I had the same issue as you. I also wish the outside construction was sturdier...they're very pliable, which probably isn't the best for keeping posters absolutely flat.

happens to me CONSTANTLY. it's so fucking frustrating. it's one half of the rings that slightly come apart, so I then have to take all the pages out and rethread them. it's maddening.

I've come to the point where I think I'm going to get an 18x24 binder. I used to only get posters from the shows I actually went to, but there's just so many cool posters now with beautiful artwork. So I think I'll get a binder and just buy the ones I like for that, and only frame the posters from shows I go to, if that makes sense.

Is it safe to assume that most of the posters from the shows and website here are 18x24? I've noticed most of the posters here on the site don't seem to show the dimensions. Also, does anyone have experience with this Sooez brand binder on amazon for $35?

I use the Sooez binder. It’s quality for the price. May upgrade to something nicer at some point.

Mine is a little sketchy.  It says it holds up to 50 pages so I bought more to fit in 50.  The pages frequently pop out of the binder rings so I’m calling BS on it holding that many pages.  At some point I will move the extra pages to a flat file and maybe that will help it stay together.  For the price I was expecting it to function better.

Same. The only poster I ever thought about buying at a show was Donkey Kong and I passed it up :(. Now after buying my first poster last year, I am hooked and have enough for a binder....maybe two already thanks to the Fukutubes LOL. Plan on sticking with shows I've been to, but have grabbed a few others selectively.

I haven't had that issue (yet), but I don't open it that often.

I have the Baroque 24x36 and bought extra pages for it.  It’s great but it was sold out for a long time before it went back in stock when I got one.  So you might have to be patient if you want a larger one.
I have the same, but can’t fill it up completely; if I do, the binder rings open up when you carry it by the handle & it’s a pain in the ass to get all the sheets back in.
