Framed this for a gift for a friend for their birthday.
While I don't particularly enjoy the artwork, nice choices on the frame job. This is how things should be done. It looks good and definitely elevates the art.bat2144 said:Found the perfect frame for this one.
Agree - great frame choice - needs a matt though. Needs some separation between the image and the frame pattern.Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -

^ frame a lil too fancy for my taste, but the matting is cool0

yeah, I don't think that frame goes with the print at all.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

In light of new music and a new tour, I thought I'd start posting pics of my posters. Have loved this thread for years, but never posted before. I get a poster from every show I attend, but only frame/hang those that strike me in some way. I've collected baseball cards for decades, so really liked this one. It was a tough sell with the wife, but my 12 year old son loves it as he collects cards now too (more of a hockey kid though) so this got hung in his room. I'll post others we have in his room next as we have a bit of a baseball theme going.Post edited by More Cowbell on0

That looks great! I bought this poster after the fact as I was chasing the Steve Thomas print for that show. Glad I got this one too.

That is awesome!0 -
Cracker Jack! I was lucky enough to score one of these. This was the first of the baseball themed posters I hung in my son's room. I sold it to my wife as a "classic old school baseball / Cracker Jack poster fitting for a young boy's room" (he was two at the time). May have left out a key characteristic of the poster at the time!0
