A fun and successful story.....I live in a small town in upper Westchester County, NY. My house backs up on a small nature preserve and less than a half mile away is one of Leatherman's Caves. Our kids learn about Leatherman in school, his backstory is an important part of our local area, which I always found so cool because of my love of Pearl Jam and the song Leatherman. We have visited the cave, we have walked the Leatherman trail, it all ties together.

Back in 2011, when the PJ20 concerts happened, as you all know there was a series of limited poster that were sold, including the Leatherman poster. The artist, Brian Methe, decided to sell a limited run of 14 of these posters printed on actual leather. I thought the piece of art would be perfect for our country style home and would tie together our home, the story of Leatherman, and my love of Pearl Jam. Of course, the poster sold out immediately and I didn't get one.

For the last 12 years I searched HARD for this leather print and finally, a few weeks ago I found someone who had the complete set of posters (the two screen printed paper posters and the leather one). He offered to sell them to me at a very reasonable price, and they arrived a few days later, a wonderful buying experience. I sent the leather print off to be framed, using a floating frame method dry mounted to not damage the leather or signature/numbering on the back. Here it is, now hanging in my living room, a story to tell to anyone who spends time with us and asks about it...."This is Leatherman, a man who lived in a cave not far from here, walked a constant trail around these woods, and also a B-Side song about him written by my favorite band, Pearl Jam." <Cue Leatherman song on our speakers>

Thanks all for the nice comments.  I did this one myself, I'm pretty proud of it.  Just had to frame it because it's my favorite song and from a hometown show. It's on the wall right above where I work at home so I can admire it almost every day
