Just bought a barely used Godin LG Signature in Cognac Burst on ebay (for about $300 less than musician's friend sells it). This should complement my telecaster really well. I'll post pics when it arrives.

  • My buddy just bought the P90 version of that. Descent peice.

Did you get a hard shell case with yours? Does the guitar fit weird in it?

Nah it's coming with a Godin Gig bag. The bag looks pretty sturdy so I think i'm gonna hold off on a HSC until i need one. My instructor tried interesting me in the Godin Solidac ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Godin-Solidac-Electric-Acoustic-Guitar-INSANE-FLAME_W0QQitemZ290117856340QQihZ019QQcategoryZ2384QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ) but i really wasn't feelin the pickguard. I've played the LG before and loved it.

The Godin gig bags are good.

The bag's are awesome. Even support the neck (which is way different!).

Very nice! I hear Godin has a good reputation for customer service too, so even if you incur any problems (doubtful) your guitar is well protected.

Nah that sounds like the flat 5. http://www.robbsmusic.com/ProdImages/godinflat5x_lg.jpg

I looked at them a bit but they're harder to find and significantly more expensive i believe. I plan to get a 335 style guitar sometime in the future so I think this solid-body with humbuckers is a good scoop.

I have a Godin LGX-SA AAA - I use it for synth stuff with my GR-33 - works well.

She's purdy. Looks like it has a pretty huge neck though... is it wide like an acoustic Seagull, or is it just my imagination?

Thanks! I've been trying to find the more detailed specs online for it, but no luck yet. Without any measurements, I'd say it doesn't feel any different than my tele's neck besides the texture. Both are 25 1/2" scale, 22 frets on the Godin, 21 on the Tele.
