JEFF HARDY AND JEFF AMENT USED TO LOOK THE SAME
"Pearl Jam always eases my mind and fires me up at the same time.”-Jeff Hardy
I agree - the TS9 is a really great pedal - every guitarist should have one (I'd be lost without mine - I have two, and they both sound different).
I used my TS9 almost exclusively before I got a BD-2 Blues Driver (now I use them both, and they're an integral part of my tone) - Cheers . . .
I think they're great pedals. It'll be debated hotly I'm sure, but I love both of mine.
Actually my favorite one is one I had modded by Vaughn's Mods in Pennsylvania. http://www.wpa.net/~vaughn/ts9/ts9.html
He adds 2 three way switches. One boosts the bass by two different stages
The other three way is
Original TS808 sound, a Clean Boost, and a half boost which I love! It's very responsive to touch.
These mods are great for changing up between single coil and humbuckers, too, especially the bass boost for the treble pickup on a Strat.

the ts-9 is the one piece of equipment i CANNOT play without....i switch back and forth between my les paul and strat but the ts-9 is a constant.......now i'm thinking of getting a second one cuz i heard of someone (trey anastasio) playing with 2 and i am curious as to what that would sound like
"I'll tell you what: If all I had was Pearl Jam, and I didn't have another band in the world, I would not be worried. Because in there is the essence of making great music. You don't have to use it all at once, but it's there." - Neil Young

I know everyone uses them but just not a fan of the Shure SM 57.
