just bought a gibson custom shop 58 les paul

    i actually got an amazing deal-$2100! less than a standard.
    they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go

    well, my grandfather died on christmas day while our entire family was eating...

    long story short, he lelft me a somewhat large inheiritance, and my partnts said i could take out 1700$ and put the rest in my bank. i had 500$ from Xmas, and i bought this.

    That sunburst is so timeless. I never get tired of looking at a good tri-burst! Plus, it's an R8...the necks on those are just right IMO...nice and thick. Big neck = big tone. :D

    I agree on the neck comment 50's necks are awesome. I love that fat chunky neck.

    The color is awesome and that's a very lovely plain top.

    This is one of the best reasons to love great guitars, they last for decades, and become heirlooms. You have shown a lot of taste and foresight for a 14yr old, either that or you are a born magpie !!!
