Schecter PT question

Anyone know if a Fender or Warmoth neck would fit a Schecter PT? I just won one of these off of ebay for $100 cheaper than the list price. Been wanting one for years. I've heard that the neck feels like crap. I have an old Fender tele neck I could swap it with. Oh well, I'll know when it arrives.

    I presume you mean one of the new Diamond Series ones, in which case, no. The heel is angled and, as such, the holes won't line up. You could buy one undrilled from Warmoth but that neck will cost you more than the guitar itself.

    what about filling the existing holes with hardwood dowel and glue, and then drilling the new ones out? This is probably blasphemy in the luthier world, but may be worth a try. Would not be doing such things on higher end guitars though.
