I've never owned a turntable and would like to get one (so I can listen to Chinese Democracy on Vinyl ;)).

What do I need to know about them? Which one should I get? Can I just pick one up off of craigslist for $25-$45 dollars and will it sound the same as one from Best Buy for $150. Will I need a receiver? Can I use speakers that come from my Sony stereo?

    I got one off Craigslist. You'll need a receiver, and speakers that plug into a receiver. You might need a new needle or belt to get it to sound good.
