Just got bored for a second and took my acoustic outside with my ebow thinking not too much would happen, but how i was wrong, i got such a great, beautiful sound out of it, i was amazed, even though i think it scared my neighbours!

has anyone else tried it?, maybe its old news?

I haven't done that for a while but thanks for reminding me!
You can get some great flutelike and sort of clarinet/ woodwind sounds with an ebow on an acoustic.

I have a regular gig in an art gallery and I get to play weird "whatever I want" type music. That would fit the bill! :D I gotta go wipe the dust off my ebow!

    Thanks!
