Bargain of the week....a laney vc30 212 (2x12")for 90 QUID!!!!

i was aimlessly wandering around Leeds and i thought i'd bob into a store that supplies dj equipment, it was full of tat and in one corner there was the remains of the 'cashconverters' store that used to be attatched to it, i was looking through the tatty cheap guitars when 'bam', i near damn tripped over this vc30, it looked in supeb nick, the only things missing were the handle and the footswitch, i asked the guy....'how much?', expecting him to know the value i expected him to say, 250-300 quid, and he just turned round and said....

'er....99 quid',

my heart went nuts for a second, i remembered reading these things were the alternative AC30 (hense VC30), i turned it on, (he didn't have clue how to get it going i even had to use my own jack that i'd just bought) and it seemed ok, abit of switch noise on the gain channel so i tried my luck.... i asked...can you knock anything else off?, she needs a service, he didn't fall for it, he rang his mate and asked him he said 90 was a good price, so i said yes and he said 'done', under my breath i said 'you have been!!'

i slapped it on my credit card and loaded her into my car, when i got her home i turned her on and she works ok, abit of switch trouble as i earlier mentioned but man, this thing was shaking my house down with the gain volume on '1'!!!!

now, what shall i do, i keep asking myself, include it my rig with the jcm900 and keep it cos its te tube sound i love or sell it and make a tidy profit??, whad'ya think? check out some pics::
