Well, I'm new around here on this message board - so I'll introduce myself - my name's Paul - I've been a die hard PJ fan since high school (mid-nineties) when I bought my cassette copy of Vs., and they've been a huge part of my development as a musician over the years -

I'm in a band now called The Echo Division
(http://www.myspace.com/echodivision)

Since I saw a couple people who posted links to their own music, I thought I'd do the same, and get some feedback from y'all - I'd LOVE to hear what you think of the songs.

Thanks so much

Paul

Wow man, I'm listening to Horses and it rocks. Great tones too coming from your band. What are you playing?

Do you guys have a CD?

Also noticed you were playing guitar for Sensefield. Got a lot of airplay around here and Save Yourself was a big song for my graduating year of highschool.
  • Hey - thanks so much for listening! I'm glad you liked what you heard!!

There are 3 guitars on "Horses," a Telecaster going through a Marshall Shredmaster into a Fender Deluxe Reverb, a Les Paul going through that same amp without the pedal, and an SG, also going into a Deluxe, I believe -

Actually, when I toured with Sense Field, I was playing keys, and singing backup, for 2 tours - "Save Yourself" was one of the songs I loved playing - it was awesome being with those guys -

I really appreciate you taking the time to listen to our stuff, man - oh, and we're in the midst of working on the CD now - hoping to have it done by June...

Pretty good stuff, man. Keep up the good work. Maybe that thing on MySpace where it says "Label: None" will change soon.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

  • cool, guys! Thanks for the feedback - I really appreciate that you took a minute to listen - I always think time is the most precious commodity we all have, and when somebody gives some time to you, it's a real gift...

so thanks for that - and yeah, adam, I'd love to see that "label" status change someday... who knows - all we can do is try to write the best songs we can and keep working hard, I guess
