the beginning of this song is a new addition i think, eddie played it at the wembley show earlier in the year and it also features on immagine in cornice.
Its Cm to Em with a little play on the top e string thrid and second fret in between transition of the chords. fairly easy to play really.
Used to play this song differently until i saw the immagine in cornice dvd and notice eddie playing the low e string second fret on the D chord in the verse, it makes a massive difference giving that deep warming sound.'Life comes from within your heart and desire'

Quite right.
If you think about it, F# is part of the D chord anyway - you play it on the top-E. It's strange that we usually only think of the D chord as using 4 strings - 'A' is also part of the chord, so there's nothing stopping you playing the open A string.

great cover!!! I've also been playing this song a lot recently, and that intro bit is great. see you're in southampton, ive just come back from there after finishing uni, shame im not still down there or id be up for a jamming session.0
