My band and bootlegs...

Ok- I love how Pearl Jam and numerous other bands have bootleg programs for their fans. I recently figured it would be a good tool for my band, Sky Picnic.

We have decided we will start recording all of our shows and offering them as downloads to everyone on our mailing list, FREE of charge. This seems like a good marketing plan.

What is everyone's opinion on this idea? Would people care enough to have MP3's of our shows?
