Favorite Humbucker Pickups for PJ Tone?

I'm curious to hear what humbucker pickups you guys would recommend?
I play an Epiphone LP Custom and would like to upgrade the stock pickups, but I am not sure what to use. I love the PJ clean (and slightly dirty) tones as well as Angels & Airwaves, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, KOL, etc.

The stock Gibson 490r/490t and 498t are also appropriate, although I'd personally stick to a PAF for those particular bands' styles.

I'd be curious about these too. I can't tell if they're supposed to give metal tones or just really really dirty distortion.
Yeah, I know. Tom Delonge uses them. And I really like some of the clean tones that he produces in Angels & Airwaves.

I test drove a Jackson with EMG 81/85 pickups. not the Zakk Wylde ones, but still the EMG 81/85. definitely not what I was expecting. basically, I ordered it from Musicians Friend and kept it for about 3 weeks before sending it back. I get a better Metallica sound with my Les Paul with 490/498 than I did with that Jackson.
though I do admit that the Jackson was incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and played like a dream. Just didn't dig the pickups like I thought I would.
