I'm in the market for a new acoustic, but am taking my time and playing lots of them several times. I started out loving the "Martin" sound from the HD28 and HD28V, however, today I played a Taylor 614ce and loved the feel and sound. I also played an 814ce and a 914ce and didn't like either of those as much as the 614ce (could have been due to the setups on each). Anyway, just curious what others on hear think about the 614ce from Taylor (Quality, Sound, etc.)
Cheers!

I prefer the 814CE (rosewood back and sides) over the 6-series (which has maple back and sides).
The maple back and sides tend to be a bit to bright and harsh for my taste.
The rosewood tone seems to be a bit more even and smooth.
