Tab for beginning of Immortality on IIC DVD

I believe there's been posts here about this in the past, but I can't seem to find them. Anyway, I am curious if anyone knows of or could tab out the special beginning of Immortality that Ed plays on the IIC DVD? I love that part, but being somewhat new to playing guitar, can't figure it out on my own.

As always, you're help is much appreciated!

Happy playing!
Cheers!

  • Just finger style a C chord to a G chord. There are variations to it as well.

  • I play it kind of like man of the hour, i watched eddie play it at wembley and its pretty much a variation of C and G
  • better question is what was he playing after during the jam part..i know it was some sort of an "a" chord but not sure exactly what it was

It's the A chord up an octave so bar the twelve fret with the index and the use another one to bar the 14th covering the D, G, B, and e. (mute the low E).

  • Just sat down and figured it out....here's what I came up with. It's just picking a Cadd9 chord without the high E string fretted, then a little run, and then an Em chord.

Don't have tab software so here's a general idea...and change it up once in a while

Yeah...There was a post on here a little while ago where I had it tabbed out. That's the general idea. I just used the 1996 Randalls Island version though. It's the same thing, basically.

I actually just came on the pit to ask the same question, and couldn't find it either. Thanks for beating me to it.
