Good Tab for Cortez the Killer?

Anybody have a good tab they'd recommend for Cortez the Killer by uncle Neil?

    Thanks for the posts. I was watching Warren Haynes with the Dave Matthews band in the central park concert and got inspired to learn this and didn't see a tab on given to wail (thought it might have been posted there).

    no tab yet =) it's part of a Neil Jam section I'm working on adding eventually though.

    Yeah, just solo in Em pentatonic but the tune the guitar to D modal (DADGBD).
    No need to play the album version verbatim, Neil's only done it once.
    Using the word "methinks" in your message board posts doesn't make you look smart.

    I’ve seen it played so many different ways! When Crazy Horse plays, they use all sorts of dynamics and overtones in that song.

    Maybe try this, too:
    Plant your ring finger on the b string 3rd fret and using the other fingers to fret the chords:

    e a d g b e

    0 2 2 0 3 0 < Em7

    x x 0 2 3 0 < Dadd9

    x 3 2 0 3 x < C add9

    If you’re playing with a bass player, the bass player plays the A note, and the guitar plays the C note on the A string on that last Cadd9 chord.

    I’ve seen Neil play it acoustic with the Low E string dropped to D, too. That gives a nice low D note on the D chord. You would play the E chord like this:

    I have to agree. Love the part where Dave says, "He's Bad" to Carter about Warren during the solo. Just awesome.
