Yeah, I've seen him a couple of times. I wish he was playing Lollapalooza on Sunday too instead of Friday. I can't make it out Friday. So, I am just going to see PJ. I hope he sticks around and comes out to play with PJ on Sunday though...
    Cheers!

I am a massively into him. Seen him a few times now. Last time was in May last year. Awesome show. Two songs in he launched into Glory and Consequence and my heart flew to the roof and reminded me just how unreal he is, by the time he'd sat down to thrash out the wicked cool slide solo intro to Temporary Remedy, i was gone. When he picked up his Wiessenborn I knew i was in for a treat and he didn't let us down. As much as i love it when he rocks out, you almost feel intimate with him when he grabs the Wiessenborn for his signature quiet time.

I have an absolutely amazing rendition of Jimi Hendrix's Manic Depression from 2000, so pretty much all the guitar is Ben, and all the vocals are Ben, he totally demolishes the song. Need to hear it to believe how magic it is. If anyone would like it, please pm me or just post here and i'll organize to send it.

Ben Harper's one hell of a musician. People like Ben Harper, John Mayer, etc. really make me smile because of what they bring to the mainstream charts. Slide guitar needs to get popular again, dammit!

saw ben harper last year absolutely mind blowing gig! If ya like your slide guitar check out the john butler trio aswell.
I'm not saying stupidity should be a capital offence, but what say we take the safety labels off everything and let nature run it's course?

I totally agree. I think Rocco Deluca is a refreshing addition to the music scene these days as well.
