It's "Long Division" by Fugazi, which I heard for the first time yesterday.
The whole song is just one riff for the guitar (while the bass is a bit more complicated in some parts,) it's very simple:

i used to play that when i was a kid, twelve years back now.....
me and my first band, we didn't do covers or really sing, but we could improvise for hours. this was one of maybe three songs we worked on.
